Marvelous Microbes at Cambridge Central Library

Did you know that trillions of tiny microorganisms are living all around us – and even inside us? Join us on to uncover the hidden world of microorganisms and discover how scientists at the European Bioinformatics Institute use data to study them. With fun, hands-on activities for all ages, you'll explore the amazing microbes that help our body’s function, learn about some that can make us ill, and find out how researchers use data to reveal their secrets.
This is a free drop-in activity for children aged 8+. Book your free place or just come along on the day. Parents/carers to stay with their children.
This event will take place on the 3rd floor of Cambridge Central Library, which is wheelchair accessible. There is a baby change and accessible toilet on site. There is Blue Badge holder parking at the Grand Arcade parking.
