Session Eleven: To understand how to write a synopsis and what lies beyond publication

• Reducing your massive novel to 500 words
• To submit or not submit
• Next steps in your writing journey

If you've always dreamed of writing a book but didn’t know where to begin, or if you're an experienced writer wanting to revisit the foundations of storytelling, this course offers the perfect opportunity.

Over eleven monthly sessions, our expert tutor will guide you through the essential elements of creative writing. From structure and dialogue to description, point of view and beyond - you’ll explore every key aspect of the writing process.

By the end, you’ll be equipped to write a compelling synopsis and understand the steps involved in submitting your work for publication.

NB: To make the most of the Creative Writing Classes, please ensure that you book your place and that you are prepared to attend all the available sessions, there are 11 monthly sessions in total from September 2025 to July 2026.

Tickets will be released in three-month blocks for the remaining dates:

• Booking is essential and you will be asked to present your booking confirmation upon arrival.

• Pen to Print and our partners reserve the right to unenroll a participant from a course and explore an alternative approach to supporting them on their writing journey, if we feel that a class is unsuitable for that participant.

• NB: May feature content that some people may find upsetting, uses language or depicts scenes reflecting attitudes that are no longer seen as acceptable.
