Curious about AcroYoga but not sure where to start? This fun, supportive workshop is the perfect introduction to the world of movement, balance, trust and connection. Whether you come with a partner, a friend, or on your own, you'll be welcomed into a relaxed environment where everyone can learn at their own pace.
My approach combines over 15 years of teaching yoga with specialist AcroYoga training completed with AcroYoga International during an intensive teacher training in Greece in 2019. Since then, I've continued to share partner-based practices that focus on communication, confidence, playfulness and safe progression.
This workshop is designed especially for beginners and those with little or no previous experience. We'll build skills step by step, learning simple partner exercises before exploring accessible AcroYoga poses. Along the way you'll discover how movement, breath and teamwork can create an enjoyable practice that is as rewarding as it is fun.
No exceptional strength, flexibility or gymnastics background is required—just a willingness to have a go and enjoy the experience.
Workshop Programme
Welcome and introductions
Gentle warm-up and mobility
Partner yoga foundations and communication
Spotting techniques and safety principles
AcroYoga basics: basing, flying and spotting
Beginner-friendly poses and transitions
Fun partner flows and group practice
Rest, stretching and relaxation
Time for questions and photographs
Suitable for: Complete beginners, couples, friends and solo participants (partners will be rotated if you're happy to do so).
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, water, and a sense of curiosity and play.
