Bryan Creer & Valmai Goodyear are running concertina - and any melody instrument - part-playing sessions at Whitby Folk Week in the Stakesby Arms, 1 Byland Road, Whitby YO21 1JH. The timetable is below. Bryan has put the music up on the Spare Parts Band website http://www.sparepartsband.co.uk/SPTunes.php. You can download it in midi, pdf and Noteworthy Composer form. The arrangements will suit any melody instrument. Feel free to have a go at them whether you are coming to Folk Week or not.

We have six practice sessions on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, all at 10:00 – 11:20 in the Stakesby Arms. We expect to be taking two sets of the arranged tunes we've worked on to the final workshop concert on Friday in the Spa Pavilion Hall. These are Harliquin Air / Marquis of Granby's March & I'd Rather Have A Piece Than A Kiss / The Gaubeo. Taking part in that concert isn’t compulsory - the main idea is to enjoy playing the arrangements together.
To provide variety we'll also play an extra arrangement most days but we're not aiming to get those ready for performance unless people particularly want to do them. By the way, there is a story to Metal Man: Unfortunately the short video doesn't use Barry Dransfield's tune.
