About this event Join us at Whitby Library for a fantastic free Summer Reading Challenge event with author and illustrator Liz Million.
Liz is known for her fun, interactive sessions packed with drawing, creativity and laughter. Children will have the opportunity to learn illustration techniques, take part in activities and be inspired by Liz's stories and artwork.
This event is part of the Summer Reading Challenge 2026 and is suitable for children of primary school age.
Important information
- This is a free event but booking is required.
- Participants must be registered for the Summer Reading Challenge 2026 before attending. (ages 4-11)
- If your child has not yet joined the Summer Reading Challenge, library staff can help sign them up before the event.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the session (Please note! there will be a separate waiting area for parents so that we can maximise the number of children we can have in the junior room for the event)
