About this Event

Science is better when we explore together!

As Coastal Rangers, you will delve into the world of coastal biodiversity and conservation action with REConnect.

We will be adopting scientific methods to accurately survey the intertidal zone and record the diverse species we find living amongst the rockpools that are revealed at low tide.

Delivered by Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Groundwork NE&C, you will enjoy a gentle introduction into marine citizen science and get hands on by helping us survey the rocky shore at Boggle Hole.

The activities will be fully supported and we will be learning together as we go, so it is an ideal first step for beginners and those wanting to explore a new interest in their local coastal wildlife.

All equipment and resources are provided - but please bring walking boots or wellies (and a camera if you want to) for exporing the rockpools!
