Paper Lantern Making with Kerry Maloney
Start your Tuesday with a little creativity! Join Kerry Maloney for a hands-on Paper Lantern Making Workshop and create your very own illuminated paper lantern.
Using reed, tissue paper, and lights, Kerry will guide you through the process of building a complete lantern from start to finish. Whether this is your first lantern or you’re ready to try something a little more elaborate, you’ll have everything you need to create something uniquely yours.
No previous experience is necessary, and all materials are provided!
You’ll also learn how to work with reed as a structural material, giving you a technique you can use for future art projects.

About the Instructor:
Kerry Maloney is, in a word, enthusiastic! After taking a paper lantern class herself, she loved it so much she simply couldn’t stop making them. She went on to create lanterns for the 2023 Under The Flower Moon art exhibit, and her current goal is to take every single art class offered by The Arts!
