Paint Your Own: Doormat Workshop(Studio Preview Series)
Join us for a relaxed, creative evening in our brand new studio space – part of our Studio Series, where we’re opening the doors in small, intimate groups.
When: Tuesday 28th April
Time: 19:00 – 21:00pm
In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided step-by-step to design and paint your own personalised doormat. Whether you go for something playful, minimal, seasonal, or add a touch of personality with wording or pattern, you’ll create something both creative and practical for your home.
We’ll explore simple techniques for working on fabric surfaces, using stencils, layout ideas, and layering to help you achieve a clean, confident finish. You’re welcome to follow along or make it completely your own.
This session is all about relaxing, having a play, and creating something you’ll smile at every time you walk through the door — no pressure, no perfection.
Do I need experience?
Not at all. Everything is beginner-friendly and gently guided. If you’ve never painted before, you’ll feel completely at ease.

You’ll head home with your finished doormat — ready to brighten up your doorstep.
Refreshments
We’ll have tea, coffee, juice and biscuits ready for you to enjoy.
Feel free to bring your own refreshments too.

Clothing: Paint can stain, so please wear something you’re happy to get a little creative in.
Photography: By attending, you grant The Imaginators permission to use event photos for promotional purposes across social media, print, and our website.
Prefer not to be photographed? Just let us know on arrival and we’ll make sure you’re not included.
Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable, but if you let us know at least 48 hours in advance, we’re happy to issue a voucher for a future event.
Suitable Age: Our sessions aren’t typically designed for young children due to materials and instruction level. However, if you feel your child would enjoy the experience, we’d love to welcome you both — just ensure they have their own ticket and are accompanied by a paying adult.
