Own Your Rhythm! Workshop (Ages 9-13)

HELLO CALGARY!
The BeaYOUtiful Foundation is so excited to launch our Own Your Rhythm Workshop at PULSE Studios. Own Your Rhythm is an empowering workshop designed to help girls and non-binary youth ages 9–13 navigate and celebrate body positivity and self-esteem through reflection, connection and positive self-talk. The workshop begins with exploring the importance of understanding what body image is and how it can be influenced. From there, participants move into a reflective exercise where each participant is asked to celebrate their bodies beyond its physical features. Concluding the session with a fun movement activity to appreciate our bodies for what it can do. This workshop is about providing youth with the tools and confidence to create healthy body image and self-esteem.
What participants will experience:

• A safe and welcoming environment led by trusted mentors.
• Reflection activity rooted in the values of self-love and self-worth.
• A fun movement activity that supports body positivity
• Meaningful connection with peers and Soul Sisters.
