We're back. Dos Leches returns to the park this May for our first event of the season. Bring your friends, bring a blanket, and come dance!About this Event
Dos Leches is back for Vol. 8 on Saturday, May 23, at Peace Park in Eau Claire. 3:00 PM until sunset. (around 9PM)
It's free. It's outdoors. It's all ages. Bring your people, bring your kids, bring your dog. You know the deal.
This year we're growing the experience. Here's what's on:
Music. Local DJs all afternoon into the evening. Afro house, deep house, global sounds. The same crew you've come to dance with, plus a few new faces.
Food trucks. Two food vendors on site. Bring an appetite.
Beer garden by Cold Garden. Our friends at Cold Garden are running a fully licensed beer garden. Grab a cold one, hang out, enjoy the afternoon.
Kids zone by Alcove Arts Centre. Hands-on art activities and entertainers for the little ones. Free to participate.
Dos Leches Gives. We're partnering with the Calgary Food Bank for a donation drive on site. If you can, bring a non-perishable item to drop off at the entrance. Every bit helps.
Community partners: Eau Claire Community Association, Cold Garden Beverage Company, Alcove Arts Centre, Calgary Food Bank.
Important to know (rules + community guidelines)
We want everyone to have a great time. A few things to keep in mind so we can keep doing this:
Beer garden and alcohol. Cold Garden is operating a licensed beer garden on site. Please do not bring your own alcohol. Outside alcohol is not permitted under the AGLC license. If you purchase a drink, it must stay within the beer garden perimeter. There will be staff and signage to help you.
No cannabis on site. This is a family event in a public park. Please do not smoke or consume cannabis at the event or in the surrounding area, especially near kids.
Be mindful of others. This event is for everyone. Families, seniors, kids, neighbours, first-timers. Look out for each other. If you see something, say something. Find a volunteer or come to the DJ booth.
Pack out what you bring in. Garbage and recycling bins will be on site. Help us leave the park better than we found it.
Pets welcome. Bring your dog. Keep them on a leash and bring water and waste bags. Be aware that there will be crowds and music.

Age info: All ages welcome. Family-friendly event.
Parking info: No on-site parking. We strongly recommend public transit (C-Train, bus), biking, or walking. Limited paid parkades nearby in Eau Claire and downtown.
