Northside Community Garden w/ Ruth's Gleanings

Event Overview:

Join Ruth's Gleanings looks at the Northside Community Garden as a place to pray, grow, learn and save seeds, the community garden provides a space for increased mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing that leads to a healthy and thriving community. Volunteers will help lay out new growing beds to prepare for Spring plantings. Volunteers can expect the following: clean up leaves, weeds, and sidewalks; Build a potting bench in greenhouse; Some planting of evergreen infrastructure and greenhouse plants; Shoveling, raking, weeding, planting, moving stone.

What to Bring:

• Dress for the weather, as we'll be outdoors. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bundle up for cold weather.
• Please bring garden gloves and (labeled) garden tools if you have them. Some tools available onsite.
