Non-Profit Leadership Institute
Designed for staff, executives, board members of nonprofits, and community members interested in board service, this course will provide the foundations of managing and operating effective nonprofits.
This series of seminars, led by subject-matter experts, is for members of all levels of nonprofit organizations and will include peer-facilitated discussion for networking and collaboration opportunities. Topics include organizational leadership, financial management, fundraising, and community engagement.
You Will:
• Learn to connect mission, vision, values, strategy, and goals.
• Understand the principles and concepts of nonprofit leadership, governance, and planning.
• Apply sound fiscal and financial decision-making.
• Cultivate professional relationships to build resources.
• Explore ways to use storytelling and communication strategies to grow your influence.
• Examine various fundraising and fund development strategies.
• Consider the value of using an equity lens to lead organizations today.
