Can We Do Things Differently?: A book discussion and sharing about new ways of seeing
About this Event

We're discussing four fantastical stories from We Saw Mountains by Diana Rahim and exploring how they crack open everyday life to reveal possibilities of autonomy, repair, and becoming. Then, Transformative Justice Collective will share their vision for systemic change and what it means to respond to harm with care, accountability, and community repair instead of punitive punishment.

The four stories for discussion are:

A Minor Kalahari - a story of displacement and survival

The Restoration - about repair, return, and what it means to heal

What The Belly Contains - an unsettling look at capitalism's grip on care and wellness

We Saw The Mountain - on witnessing transformation and possibility
