Guide: Don Gustafson

Third in a series, join us on a guided hike led by WOTC member, Don Gustafson, to explore native plants in their natural habitats. These outings offer a chance to experience Minnesota’s unique ecosystems with a knowledgeable guide.

In August, native bees and butterflies are at their peak in the prairie while goldenrod and asters provide abundance of color.

This will be an easy hike. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and bring water and snacks. Consider wearing long pants, insect repellent, and other tick prevention measures. Always follow leave no trace principles.

This event is free, open to both Wild Ones members and the public. There is limited space, registration will close Friday, August 28 at 6:00 pm.
