🎬 'More Than A Mountain' is a powerful documentary that follows 15 incredible women of all ages and abilities as we faced the emotional and physical challenge of climbing 5,550m mountain Yala Peak in Nepal.

Led by Jo Bradshaw in April 2025, this expedition was more than just a mountain climb. It was a living tribute to Junko Tabei, the first woman to summit Mount Everest on 16th May 1975, and a trailblazer whose name deserves to be celebrated, not forgotten.

Yet her story remains in historical shadows. This film aims to change that.

‘More Than A Mountain’ shines a light on Junko’s legacy while telling the deeply personal stories of 15 women walking in her footsteps on an expedition which Junko led 2 years after her Everest success.

The film was premiered at the opening night of Kendal Mountain Festival in November 2025 and is currently on the film and event circuit before general distribution.

Mountaineer and expedition leader Jo Bradshaw will be talking about her own Everest Expedition followed by the film screening and a Q&A.
