Are you a woman building a business — or thinking about starting one — and looking for a supportive community of women who understand the journey?

Come and join us for the Her Time to Shine Walk & Talk — a relaxed and informal way to network, connect with other women, share ideas and get some fresh air and inspiration along the way.

We meet on the second Saturday of each month at 9.00am, giving you the chance to invest a little time in yourself and your business before your weekend gets underway.

Our walk is an opportunity to network naturally while getting some fresh air and exercise.

As we walk, we introduce ourselves and our businesses to the women we're walking with, so everyone gets to know who we are, what we do and how we might be able to support one another.

It's a relaxed way to network without sitting around a table or feeling like you have to give a formal pitch.

You can:

• Introduce yourself and your business
• Find out what other women do
• Discover potential collaborations
• Share ideas and experiences
• Make new connections
• Build relationships
• Exchange business cards and information
• Find people who may be able to support, recommend or collaborate with you

And, of course, you get the added bonus of fresh air, movement and a chance to step away from your desk.

After our walk, we'll head somewhere nearby for coffee and the second part of our morning.

Each month has a different Her Time to Shine theme, and over coffee we'll explore that theme together.

Our Her Time to Shine coaching cards provide thought-provoking questions and reflections to get the conversation flowing. They're designed to encourage you to pause, think about your own business and share ideas and experiences with the women around you.

We'll then move into our mini mastermind session, where we'll explore the month's theme together through guided questions and conversation.

It's an opportunity to share a challenge, idea or experience, hear different perspectives and learn from the women around you.

You don't need to have all the answers — sometimes talking something through with the right group of people can help you see things in a completely different way.

It's about support, encouragement, ideas and taking away something useful.

It's a combination of networking, movement, connection, reflection and practical support.

9.00am – the second Saturday of each month

We'll meet under the covered area next to the Antiques Centre on the town side of Exeter Quay, in front of The Prospect Inn.

Come dressed for the weather and the weekend — not for business!

Comfortable clothes and shoes are perfect. Bring a bottle of water and, if you'd like to, bring business cards or anything else you'd like to share.

The walk is informal, friendly and welcoming. There's no need to prepare anything beforehand.

After the walk, you're very welcome to join us for coffee, our coaching card activity and mini mastermind session.

Her Time to Shine is about building businesses that support your life — not businesses that take over your life.

Our Walk & Talk is a space where you can network, connect, learn, reflect and be supported by women who understand what it's like to build a business.
