Course Overview
An intensive full day, screen based, acting workout.
Using the text, exercises, your imagination, and improvisations you will work on a prepared scene with a partner. You will do the scene then an exercise, then the scene then an exercise, then the scene, then an exercise …. and so on…..for a full day!!! And get a recording of it all afterwards!
You will go deeply into the truth of your characters and scenes, playing with multiple options and exploring your findings as you go.
A duolog scene will be given to prepare for class.

Do I need to be living in Cornwall to take part?
No, although the course is taking place in Cornwall you can travel from wherever to take part. You would have need to arrange your own travel and accommodation if required.
Meet the Tutor: Daniel Dresner
Daniel is an acting coach and teacher having taught at drama schools around the world. With his private coaching clients range from novice actors to Hollywood stars.
He has developed his approach over more than 25 years as a coach, director, teacher, life coach, actor, comedian and improviser in London, New York and Tokyo.
Studying The Method at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York and is a certified Co-Active Training Institute professional life coach.
Daniel has also written A Life-Coaching Approach to Screen Acting, published by Bloomsbury/Methuen.
Prior to his career in the entertainment industry, Daniel earned an honours degree in business studies at Middlesex University and worked as an executive with a major multinational company.
As an actor, he has appeared in hundreds of films, commercials and live performances. Along side all of this he is also co founder of Actors Coaching International (ACI) an online and in person school for actor to learn, develop and hone their skills

This will be the 4, maybe 5 course we have run with Daniel in Cornwall and although a move away from our normal cut and thrust action we believe that our role is to offer people the chance to develop a wide range of skills including flexing their screen acting muscles.
