The session will showcase and interrogate the role that Exeter and Falmouth Universities play in Cornwall, highlighting the partnerships that have been established across the years, while also pushing for more. We want participants to evaluate what the universities do in our rural context, the positive and the negatives, in a world where the public value of higher education is increasingly questioned. How can we ensure that knowledge does not remain the preserve of the privileged few but benefits all regardless of whether they attend university or not?
Please note: sign-up is not essential but will help us to organise a suitable amount of refreshments for the morning and to ensure we have enough space for everyone.
