Mixed Faith Forum sharing perspectives and conversations around culture, identity, tradition, memory and the rituals we create for ourselves
About this Event

How do we mark the things we lose, and celebrate the love that remains?

Across cultures, communities and generations, rituals have helped us make sense of love, loss and change. Rituals can give shape to feelings that are sometimes difficult to put into words, from gathering around a table and sharing food, to ceremony, music, remembrance and the simple everyday acts that keep someone’s memory alive.

Join us at Masala Bites in Blackpool, close to Funny Girls, for a warm and informal guided conversation exploring the different ways we mark love and loss.

Chirag Khajuria, Ashfaq Rafiq-Pate, Nina Beaver and Helen Houston will share perspectives and gently guide the conversation, opening up questions around culture, identity, tradition, memory and the rituals we create for ourselves.

There will be plenty of time to pause, enjoy some tea, ask questions and continue the conversation together.

You don't need to have experienced a particular kind of loss to take part. Come with your own experiences, your curiosity, or simply a willingness to listen.

A space to share stories, explore different traditions and consider how rituals can help us navigate love, loss and what comes next.
