Dr Kathryn Mannix Comes to Blackpool: Death, Dying and Talking About It
About this Event
Death touches us all; yet, many of us are reluctant to talk about it.
End-of-life expert and bestselling author Dr Kathryn Mannix has spent decades opening up conversations about death, grief and what really matters. Her books, With the End in Mind and Listen, have helped thousands of readers approach the end of life with greater understanding and less fear.
Join us as we welcome Kathryn to Good Grief Blackpool for a thoughtful and uplifting conversation with Good Grief Festival Co-Director Dr Lesel Dawson. Together, they'll explore what dying can teach us about living, how honest conversations can reduce uncertainty, and what it means to care for one another through life's most difficult moments. There'll be time for audience questions and Kathryn will sign books after the event.
Whether you're supporting someone with a serious illness, working in health or care, processing a loss of your own, or simply curious about the questions we don't ask often enough, this is an event for you.
