Linda Magistris talk/panel
About this Event
‘Grief can be complicated, but access to support should never be’ - Linda Magistris OBE
When her partner Graham died in 2014, Linda Magistris didn’t know where to turn. Her experience led her to found The Good Grief Trust, a bereavement network which connects grieving people with over a thousand local and national charities and support services, cutting through the confusion to get people the help that's right for them, backed by honest information, practical advice, and real stories from those who've been there. The Good Grief Trust also pioneered National Grief Awareness Week, which takes place every December to get the nation talking about grief and raise awareness of the support available. In 2025, Linda was awarded an OBE for services to bereaved people.
Join Linda – and Trinity Hospice CEO David Houston – to hear more about her pioneering work to break the silence around grief, connecting people to services, and to each other. She'll speak on the power of community and conversation, what still needs to change in bereavement support, and why no one should have to face grief alone.
