Step into the world of tiny treasures and meaningful making with artist Brittany Heskett.
In this heartfelt workshop, you’ll create two miniature shrines—small enough to tuck in your palm, powerful enough to hold your memories, wishes, or sacred symbols.
Using inks, acrylics, vintage ephemera, and your own personal touches, Brittany will guide you through mixed media techniques that turn humble matchboxes into soulful keepsakes.
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring small photos or mementos to make each piece uniquely yours.
We’ll close with a short, optional intention-setting to seal your creations with meaning.

About Your Instructor:
Brittany Heskett, also known as Papermoonies, studied Art, Media, and Design at Cal State University San Marcos. A multidisciplinary artist originally from San Diego, she has curated, taught, and exhibited in numerous showcases and creative collaborations across California. Her work is rooted in the study of historical material cultures, with a strong emphasis on mark-making. Now based in the Gulf South, she continues to explore storytelling through layered media and found objects.
