About the Book:

Martin Sorge, winner of The Great American Baking Show, guides readers through more than 100 recipes for sweet and savory bakes that celebrate the bounty of the Midwest, from modern classics to innovative show-stoppers.

About the Authors:

Martin Sorge is the winner of the Great American Baking Show and a home baker, cook, writer, and recipe developer. His work has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Food & Wine, and WBEZ Chicago. He lives in Chicago and Michigan's pinky finger.

Ashleé Clark is a storyteller based in Louisville, Ky. She’s the author of the book, Louisville Diners (History Press, 2015), and her writing has appeared in the book The Louisville Anthology (Belt Publishing, 2020), HuffPost, Salon and other publications. Ashleé started her career as a newspaper reporter. She has also worked in corporate communications, tech journalism and public radio. She’s currently the senior manager of community and learning at the American Journalism Project, a nonprofit organization that supports the growth of local news across the country.
