About this Event

MONSTERS & ROBOTS — A New Art Experience by Marcus Blake

What happens when the machines we create begin to reshape the people we become?

Monsters & Robots is a bold new body of work by Miami-based multidisciplinary artist Marcus Blake, exploring the evolving relationship between humanity, technology, identity, and artificial intelligence.

Created through Blake’s distinctive visual language of heavy geometric forms, sharp right angles, square figures, architectural structures, and dramatic black-and-white contrast, the collection imagines a world where humans, monsters, machines, and cities begin to merge.

The monsters represent the parts of ourselves we often hide—fear, desire, ego, chaos, instinct, and imperfection.

The robots represent the world we are building—automation, algorithms, artificial intelligence, repetition, control, and our increasing dependence on technology.

But somewhere between the two is us.

We created machines to make life easier. We gave them our information, our memories, our habits, our faces, our voices, and eventually our intelligence. The question is no longer simply what technology can become.

The question is: What are we becoming?

Monsters & Robots is both a warning and a reflection—a visual conversation about a future that may already be here.

“First, we build the robots.

And then we become them.”
