Course Breakdown

Week 1: Pottery Build

Learn the basics of working with clay and create your own pottery piece from scratch. Explore creative ideas through hands-on making and learn about ceramic processes. Your piece will be taken away to be fired (you will decorate it in week 3).

Week 2: Procreate & Sticker Making

Use Procreate to create your own designs and turn them into stickers. This session introduces digital creativity and how illustrated work can be developed into products.

Week 3: Pottery Painting

Return to your pottery pieces to decorate and finish them. Learn about surface design, colour, and personal style while refining your creative work.

Week 4: Cyanotype

Create bold blue prints using cyanotype, a simple yet striking photographic process. Layer objects and imagery on light-sensitive paper and expose them to light to produce unique, high-contrast prints. Perfect for experimenting with shape, texture, and composition.

Week 5: Zine Making

Create your own zine using illustration, collage, text, and print. Learn about self-publishing and how zines are used for storytelling, expression, and creative communication.
