MAHJ 103 | The Charleston$35 pp/per session
This class focuses primarily on The Charleston and How to Choose a Hand. Through guided examples and instructor-led discussion, participants will learn how to identify playable hands based on their initial deal, pass tiles strategically, and adjust their plan as tiles dance around the table. We may or may not have time to play a full game as we will focus most of our attention on the “swapping phase” of Mahjong.
Session Highlights:
Focus is on the 1st Charleston, 2nd Charleston and Courtesy Pass
Choosing a hand(s) based on your tiles (not just wishful thinking!)
Strategic passing: what to pass, what to keep, and when to pivot
Guided examples and instructor-led discussion
