About this Event
Mabon is the second harvest festival on the Wheel of the Year — the moment the sun crosses the equator and light and dark stand in perfect balance for the last time until spring. After this, the dark wins. We turn inward. The earth begins to rest.
In the old traditions, Mabon was a time of gratitude and gathering — honouring what the year has grown in you, and preparing to carry it through the darker months ahead. It's one of eight sabbats marking the sacred turning of the seasons, and it is deeply, quietly powerful.
We're gathering four days before the equinox to hold that threshold together. The moon is in Sagittarius — expansive, truth-seeking, forward-facing — and we'll use that energy to set intentions for the season ahead before the bowls take over and do the rest.
This is a ceremonial evening. Come ready to honour how much the year has asked of you — and what you're choosing to carry forward.
