Havilah began her musical journey at age six on a gifted piano, drawing early influence from iconic artists like Joni Mitchell and James Taylor to develop her own unique songwriting identity. Her soulful, passionate vocals led her to formal jazz and classical training at the Interlochen Arts Academy and Manhattan School of Music. Driven by her love for songwriting, she eventually moved to Seattle to front the pop-rock band Wish before transitioning to a solo guitar career, recording three albums in the Pacific Northwest. After a decade of national touring and a year-long musical stint across Europe and Barcelona, Havilah established a respected name for herself in the competitive music scene of Austin, Texas, culminating in her deeply personal compilation album, A High Wave. Today, she resides in Bellingham, Washington, where she continues to perform, teach, and run her annual youth Holistic Artventures Summer camps and LifeSong Project sessions.
