Lex Croucher grew up in Surrey, reading a lot of books and making friends with strangers on the internet, and now lives in London. With a background in social media for NGOs, they now write historical-ish rom-coms and fantasy for both adults and teenagers. Their debut YA novel, Gwen and Art Are Not in Love, won the YA Book Prize 2024, the Books Are My Bag Readers’ Award for Young Adult Fiction, and was an instant New York Times bestseller - the sequel, Bridget & Gabe Are Not Okay is coming in August 2026.

E.S. McLEOD is an author and podcaster. She has written two YA novels under the name Ella McLeod:Rapunzella, Or, Don’t Touch My Hairis a retelling of the Rapunzel story that explores themes of race, gender and coming of age. It was nominated for the prestigious Branford Boase Award and received rave reviews in Kirkus, the Irish Times, and the Guardian. Her second novelThe Map That Led to Youis a romance which interweaves pirate and Caribbean mermaid mythology, and was a Guardian Best Books Pick. Both were published by Scholastic in the UK and Yellow Jacket at Little Bee in the US. Ella graduated first in class in English Literature with Theatre at Warwick University.Andromeda is her first adult novel.

Kat Dunn grew up in London and has lived in Japan, Australia and France. She has a BA in Japanese from SOAS and an MA in English from Warwick. She's written about mental health for Mind and the Guardian, and worked as a translator for Japanese television. Her YA has been published by Head of Zeus and Andersen Press.

Benjamin Dean is a bestselling, award-winning author with a background in celebrity journalism. He has interviewed a host of glitzy celebrities and broke the news that Rihanna can't wink (she blinks, in case you were wondering). He has gone on to publish several books for children, as well as thrillers for young adults includingThe King is Dead, How to Die FamousandBury Your Friends.
