About this Event
This event is open to London of College of Fashion students only as part of the series.
There will be a kit of accords, essential oils and aroma molecules for you to create your own fragrance in the Cosmetic Science lab, room EB_511 on the Fifth Floor.
Second and third-year Cosmetic Science students will also be on hand to help with blending and sharing their experience with you.
All materials will be provided, no prior experience is needed. Please read the Health and Safety information below in FAQ.
Please ensure that you have collected your ID card, or your ID card has not expired as you will not be able to gain entry
Spaces for this workshop is limited, early booking is recommended however please cancel your booking if you no longer want to attend so that other students can have the opportunity to attend.

About Marianne Martin:
Marianne Martin has been the perfumery specialist associate lecturer at LCF since 2011. She has a chemistry degree and joined the perfume industry in 1974 as an analyst. She started training as a perfumer in 1976 and worked as a perfumer in industry and now semi-retired as a consultant. She has been honoured to be president of the British Society of Perfumers. Marianne is also a trained yoga teacher and meditation practitioner.
About Roberta Ion:
Roberta Ion has joined LCF as perfumery specialist lecturer in 2024 and will deliver the perfumery lectures in the cosmetic science MSc in block 2 of the first year programme. She is an alumnus of LCF. Since leaving college she has worked in legislation for essential oil blends and currently designs bespoke perfumes with clients at Floris.
