A classic hat with beautiful texture—and a few new skills along the way.
The March Hat features an eye-catching seersucker stitch pattern that creates subtle texture and movement throughout the fabric. It’s the perfect project for knitters who are comfortable with basic hats and ready to try something a little more interesting.
This class is also a great introduction to chart reading if that’s something you’ve been wanting to learn.
We’ll work through:
✨ The seersucker stitch pattern
✨ Reading knitting charts
✨ Crown shaping
✨ Working texture in the round
We recommend using a tonal or solid worsted weight yarn so the texture really shines.
🧶 Meets twice for 2 hours
🧶 Students receive 10% off class materials
Students should come to the first class with the brim completed (or nearly completed) so we can jump right into the stitch pattern together.
Skill Level: Easy-Intermediate. Students should already feel comfortable knitting hats in the round and working knit/purl stitches confidently.
Simple stitches, beautiful texture, and a really satisfying finished project.
