June Third Thursday Type-In

For our next Third Thursday Type-In, on June 18th, we are once again partnering with Periwinkle Fog (125 Ottawa Ave NW #160, Grand Rapids) for a special Father's Day theme. From 5–8 pm, you'll find several typewriters along Ottawa Avenue ready for you to use to type letters, poems, stories, or create a one-of-a-kind Father's Day card. Rachel Rose will once again be on-site to transform your note or poem into a unique origami creation. Beginning at 6:00 pm, we are excited to welcome Will Davis, who will be offering Poetry on Demand. While you're there, be sure to browse Periwinkle Fog's collection of original, handmade gifts, along with an eclectic assortment of games, puzzles, accessories, and other treasures. A special thanks to Lisa and Susan for their continued support of WMAT. Be sure to stop in and support their shop! In the back of the store and throughout the public corridor of the Ledyard Building, you'll find the Type-In, where we'll gather to type, talk, and enjoy each other's company. If you need a ribbon replacement or respooling service, please let us know in advance what typewriter you have so we can come prepared with the correct supplies. We hope to see you there!
