Join YpsiWrites for a workshop focused on how journaling can be combined with other strategies of taking care of ourselves. Participants will be led through a brief history of self-care, invited to journal about their self-care practices, and then encouraged to create a plan for a renewed self-care routine.About the presenter: David Boeving (they, them) is a writer, a teacher, and a psychotherapist. David has earned an MA in Creative Writing, and an MSW in Clinical Social Work. They teach at Eastern Michigan University, tutor writing in the Huron Valley Women’s Correctional Facility, and work with a community team to produce wellness-focused writing content through YpsiWrites' Write for Wellness initiative. David has published poems, pedagogy, and photographs; has writing forthcoming in The Literary Hatchet and Flash Fiction Magazine; and their chapbook, Letters to _____; or, Restless Quintet, is out now from Bottlecap Press.
