Experience the Shimmer: 1,000 Years of Korean Art
Step into the world of Najeon-chilgi, a Korean art that uses the natural, glowing beauty of sea shells. Loved for over 1,000 years, this craft once belonged to aristocrats and travelled abroad as royal gifts. The oldest surviving piece in Korea is not a chest or a cabinet. It is a mirror.
Crafting Your Own
In this relaxed 75-minute session, you will decorate a small hand mirror using real mother-of-pearl (Jagae) brought from Korea. There is no pattern to follow and nothing to get right. Nobody leaves with the same mirror.
Perfect for a mindful creative break, an afternoon with a friend, or a gift for someone special. No experience needed. We will guide you through every step!
What You Will Get:
Handmade Masterpiece: Your own hand mirror made with real, shining sea shells, with a pouch to keep it in.
Real Korean Mother-of-Pearl: Brought from Korea, in every shade the shell makes.
