Opening Zanele Muholi

Galerie Ron Mandos is pleased to present Hlanganisani, a new solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed South African visual activist Zanele Muholi. Presented in collaboration with the Muholi Art Institute, the exhibition marks twenty years of Faces and Phases and brings together new self-portraits, recent works, and a new series of portraits created with Amsterdam's Black queer community. Through photography, Muholi explores identity, visibility, resilience, and collective memory, while celebrating and documenting Black LGBTQIA+ lives.
