Join us at Studio KIND for a hands-on look at the creative world behind comics, manga and sequential art. Join John Sellings, a North Devon-based film, TV and VFX artist, for an engaging afternoon exploring the history, creative techniques and professional processes used to bring comic and manga ideas to life. From classic comics to contemporary manga, the session will explore how artists and creators develop characters, stories, artwork and visual worlds.Whether you're an aspiring artist, comic or manga fan, storyteller, illustrator, or simply curious about how these worlds are created, this workshop is open to all ages and abilities and offers an accessible introduction to the creative pipeline and techniques involved.

Studio Kind is situated at the far end of and within Barnstaple Pannier Market. During out of hours, the market can be accessed by a small wooden door from Butchers Row.
Nearest Car parks are the Cattle Market car park or Barnstaple Central. There is disabled parking on Boutport Street.
The bus station is a 5-minute walk away and the train station a 15-minute walk or bus journey of 10 minutes.
Our venue is wheelchair friendly and accessible to all. There are accessible toilets right next door.
