About this Event
Print Club takes place on the second Thursday of every month.
These relaxed and informal sessions will be led by established local printmaker Zoe Buffery, and will offer the opportunity for beginners and experienced printmakers alike to learn, experiment and experience the fun of printmaking in like-minded company.
Come along and enjoy access to our press, gentle guidance from a talented printmaker, and tea and biscuits!
Basic equipment and materials for linocutting will be provided, but please bring your own supplies if possible.
Our group welcomes anyone aged 16+, wherever they are on their artistic journey - we all learn from each other.
Zoe Buffery is an artist and printmaker living and working in rural North Devon. She creates multi-layered linocuts, which are inspired by her love of the outdoors and relationship with the natural world. Her work often looks at the connection between memory and place, exploring feelings of nostalgia and a sense of belonging.
Please note this workshop is taking place in our venue at The Corn Store, part of Barnstaple’s Pannier Market. Studio Kind is situated at the far end of and within Barnstaple Pannier Market. During out of hours, the market can be accessed by a small wooden door from Butchers Row.
Nearest Car parks are the Cattle Market car park or Barnstaple Central. There is disabled parking on Boutport Street.
The bus station is a 5-minute walk away and the train station a 15-minute walk or bus journey of 10 minutes.
Our venue is wheelchair friendly and accessible to all. There are accessible toilets right next door.
