About this Event
This workshop is a hands-on introduction to strength training led by certified personal trainer, Maxie Silkes. We will discuss the many health benefits of resistance training and go over the 7 foundational movement patterns.
You will be practicing each of these movement patterns, utilizing either bodyweight, dumbbells, or resistance bands. There are modifications for EVERYONE, so come regardless of your current fitness level.

Water and snacks will be provided, plus time for any fitness questions you may have!

About Maxie
Maxie’s passion for strength training drove her to pursue a career in the fitness industry. Her goal is to make movement and fitness fun and accessible to all. She encourages everyone to strength train, regardless of age or level. She wants to rewrite the rules of fitness, obliterating any hesitancy and making it attainable for everyone. In the end, Maxie hopes to inspire you to move your body in any way that feels good.
