Human Trafficking Basics for Mental Health Professionals
Welcome to our online event where we'll provide an introductory dive into the issue of human trafficking and exploitation across Missouri. Join us for an eye-opening session to gain solid basic knowledge of various forms of human trafficking, the methods used by traffickers, and the impact on victims and society.
This online training includes an interactive presentation followed by a Q&A session that is perfect for anyone in the community that is just learning about this important issue.
By the end of the session, participants will have:
- An increased awareness and understanding of human trafficking and exploitation
- Practical strategies for prevention, identification, and ways to get involved.
- Real tips and tools for identifying and working with survivors of trafficking in the mental health field.
