HOMEGROWN Festival 2026
HOMEGROWN Festival returns for its third edition, a three-day celebration of homegrown music at Paya Lebar Quarter Plaza from 11 to 13 September 2026. Presented by the Music & Drama Company (MDC), the festival features a new lineup and musical mood each day, with performances running 5.30pm to 9.30pm on Friday, and 2.15pm to 8.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. It is the perfect spot for youths craving high-energy music festival vibes to spice up their weekend, music lovers eager to discover new artists across diverse genres, families seeking quality time with their kids, or anyone just wanting to kick back, destress, and jam out to free live tunes. Admission is free and open to the public.
Kicking off the weekend is HOMEGROWN Rising on Friday night, a youth band competition organised in collaboration with MOMENTUM, a youth music discovery and development platform that provides emerging artistes with performance opportunities and industry mentorship. The competition serves as a launchpad for Singapore's next generation of musicians, offering audiences a first look at the city's up-and-coming talent.
The weekend then builds to this year's two headliners. brb., a contemporary R&B trio known for their sound rooted in the local indie pop scene, headlines Saturday. Regina Song, a bedroom pop artist known for her breakout single "the cutest pair" (which topped Spotify's Global Viral chart), closes out the festival on Sunday.
Joining them across the weekend are local indie acts Ice Cream Sundays, TP Music Vox, 10pm Noise Complaint, and Forests, alongside seven MDC artistes: Cut The Cabbage (an MDC NSF Band), Dominic Chin, RINES, Khim Ng, Aaron Bunac, Izzathy Halil, and Gail Belmonte.
Beyond the music, festivalgoers can browse a curated lineup of booths from local homegrown brands throughout the event.
