About this Event

Hilltop Explorer: Mount Auburn

Join us on a free community walk through Cincinnati's first hilltop suburb.
Register on the event's meetup page to reserve your spot and get updates. Event registration is managed through Meetup rather than Eventbrite.

We'll begin at Urbana Cafe in Pendleton before climbing into Mount Auburn via the historic Young Street Steps. Along the way we'll explore hidden hillside routes, visit the William Howard Taft National Historic Site, discover the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn monument in Inwood Park, climb the Gage Street Steps to Jackson Hill Park, and take in views of the city from perspectives many Cincinnatians never experience.

We'll finish by descending Cincinnati's longest public staircase, the Main Street Steps, before returning to Pendleton.

Whether you've lived in Cincinnati your whole life or just arrived, come find out why Cincinnati is bigger than you think.

Distance: 3.1 miles
Difficulty: Moderate - Strenuous (due to stairs or elevation changes)
Cost: Free
*Komoot map is approximate. Route may vary.

The group is small so everyone has a chance to connect and enjoy the walk.
Please RSVP via Meetup if you plan to attend and update your RSVP if your plans change.
