Welcome to Gather - Grow - Play, Heart x SPINE's biweekly community events.
Every two weeks, we get together to connect, empower ourselves and try something fun - often something we might not normally think to go out and do.
This time we're doing a light hike to the 30 foot location at Lynn Headwaters in North Vancouver and we'll be getting in that beautiful, clear, cold and refreshing mountain water.
GATHER
We'll meet at the End of the Line General Store at the top of Lynn Valley road in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver at 1pm, Saturday, August 29th.
We'll take a quick walk to the nearby Kilmer park for some empowering mindfulness excercises before heading out together for a 15-20 minute walk / light hike to 30 foot pool in lynn canyon.
If you're new to personal development / mindfulness exercises that's all good!
Come by yourself or bring a friend!
GROW
Every Gather - Grow - Play event includes three simple personal-growth practices:
Gratitude practice.
Goals practice.
Breathwork practice.
PLAY
This is the part that changes every time.
For this experience, we're doing a light hike into nature to forest bathe in the beautiful Lynn Headwaters area - and then we're cold plunging at 30 foot pool!
It's going to be awesome.
Gather - Grow - Play is about getting together, working on ourselves a little, meeting people and experiencing things we might otherwise never think to try (or haven't gotten around to in a while!).
What to Bring
- Comfortable hiking shoes with good grip
- Clothes for the hot summer day and whatever you need to warm up after a cold plunge
- Water
- Snacks
- Swimsuit and towel
- Warm, dry layers to put on afterward
- Maybe a waterproof bag for your wet clothing, question mark.
- Your sense of openness and adventure
When: Saturday, August 29th, 2026
Where: At the End of the Line General Store (on the corner of Lynn Valley Rd and Dempsey Rd)
Length: Approximately 2.5 - 3 hours
Gather - Grow - Play happens every two weeks, with new activities and experiences each time (we reserve the right to repeat activities :P ).
