✅ Meet Sake & Seafood Professionals
Welcome Miwa Suzuki, as a sake professional. She has been introducing premium Japanese products and traditional Japanese cultures with a strong emphasis on authenticity and quality in Canada and internationally.
Takuya Hikita, as a seafood professional, the owner and chef of TSUKIJI KITCHEN and one of Vancouver’s most trusted seafood professionals. A former auctioneer at Tokyo’s Tsukiji Market for 10 years, he brings rare firsthand expertise in selecting and handling top-quality seafood.
🐟 Familiar Fish. A New Perspective.
Taste bluefin tuna, toro, salmon and other premium seafood selected and prepared by a professional with experience in the Tsukiji fish auction trade, and discover how expert selection and preparation can transform even familiar favourites.
Then explore something new — from lesser-known seafood and Japanese sakana to make-your-own temaki with premium nori and red-vinegar sushi rice.
🍶 Taste Sakes from Nanbu Bijin
Taste different Nanbu Bijin sakes side by side, guided by a sake professional, and discover how aroma, flavour, texture and finish can differ — even within a single brewery.
From Iwate, Japan, Nanbu Bijin is internationally acclaimed yet relatively uncommon in BC, with its Tokubetsu Junmai named IWC Champion Sake in 2017.
