Festivibe is North Vancouver's multicultural family festival — free, open to everyone, and built around a single idea: every culture deserves a stage.

For the past three years, thousands of families have made the trip to The Shipyards for one of the most culturally rich days on the Metro Vancouver calendar. They come for the performances. They stay for everything else. In 2026, we are going bigger than ever.

This is not a generic community event. Every performer, vendor, and activation at Festivibe was chosen with this specific community at heart. We want you to have a full day dedicated to celebrating YOU & your beautiful culture.
WHAT TO EXPECT

The main stage runs all day. Cultural performances span continents — dance, music, and movement rooted in living traditions brought by communities that have made the North Shore and Metro Vancouver home. You will see many cultures, all coming together for the day & sharing the same stage. That is the point.

Between sets, enjoy a full market and food experience. Cuisines from across the region alongside Artisan vendors.

Inside the venue, the Kids Zone runs its own programming with activities like face painting, bouncy castle, hands-on activities, and dedicated space for families with younger children.

Some activations are included with free admission. Premium Kids Zone attractions are available for purchase.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The Shipyards in North Vancouver is one of the most distinctive event sites in Metro Vancouver — waterfront, heritage, steps from Lonsdale Quay and the SeaBus terminal. Festivibe has called it home since the beginning, and the space earns what happens inside it every year.
