Overview
Helvellyn stands at 950m, it is England's third highest peak and we will be traveling to Lake District.
The walk features steep, rocky ascents and descents, up to the summit and down via Nethermost Pike, High Crag, and Dollywaggon Pike to Grisedale Tarn, finishing by Raise Beck through the woods.
This challenging route demands fitness, careful footing on rough terrain, and attention at water crossings. Wear sturdy footwear, bring warm waterproof layers, food, water, and sun protection.
The walk will be lead by Laima C. and navigated by Raymond M. After the walk we will go for a cup of tea and cake or some food to the Kings Head Inn. Therefore, estimate finish is at 5pm.
