The NYC Social Work Ladies Collective invites you its Annual Helping Professionals Summer Picnic at Central Park Sheep Meadow. Join us for a fun-filled day to connect whether you're a seasoned helping professional, current student, recent graduate, or simply passionate about helping your community, we'd love to have you! This event is open to those working in or pursuing careers in:
- Social Work
- Mental Health
- Education
- Healthcare & Nursing
- Public Health
- Counseling
- Nonprofit & Community Organizations
- Youth Development
- And other helping professions
Come enjoy fun activities, engaging conversations, good vibes and plenty of sunshine.
We'll meet as a group at Whole Foods at The Shops Columbus Circle at 1pm to pick up food/drinks and then walk to the park.
Feel free to BYO food, drinks, & blankets and meet us at Sheep Meadow at 1:30pm

Social Work Ladies Collective - NYC Metro Chapter is a new social networking organization for ambitious & proud women social workers and mental health advocates/professionals in the NYC Metropolitan Area. We host fun and interactive in person social events throughout the year. Our mission is to create a safe space where meaningful connections are formed and where like minded women feel supported, empowered and encouraged to continue along their career and educational journey.
PLEASE NOTE: We welcome ANY social workers (BSW/MSW/LMSW/LSW/LCSW) and mental health advocates including macro, nonprofit, government and clinician professionals and current/prospective students or recent graduates from a social work or mental health undergraduate/graduate program.
