Guided Snowshoe at Tower Overlook

Event Description: Tower Overlook takes you through a beautiful coniferous forest, transitioning to a maple forest as you progress. A steady climb brings you up a hillside with panoramic views of Lake Superior where a fire tower was once located.

Need to Know: Dress for the weather! Plan to be outside for about 3 hours. If the snow is light and fluffy, we’ll wear snowshoes. If the trail is packed or icy, we’ll opt for ice trekkers. Trips could be cancelled if temperatures drop below -15 degrees with windchill.

Level of Difficulty: Moderate

Ages: 6+, but anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We are unable to put car seats in our shuttle vehicle so any families with kiddos under 8 years old will need to drive separately.
