Guided Snowshoe or Winter Hike at Cascade River

Event Description: The Cascade River hike is a loop which explores three frozen waterfalls. The hike includes a stop at a bridge which provides a bird’s eye view of the frozen river.

Need to Know: Dress for the weather! Plan to be outside for about 2 hours. If the snow is light and fluffy, we’ll wear snowshoes. If the trail is packed or icy, we’ll opt for ice trekkers. Trips could be cancelled if temperatures drop below -15 degrees with windchill.

Location: Meet at Bluefin Bay Guest Services

Distance: 1-1.5 miles roundtrip

Level of Difficulty: Easy-Moderate

Ages: 6+, but anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We are unable to put car seats in our shuttle vehicle so any families with kiddos under 8 years old will need to drive separately.
