About this Event
Join us for this event in Toronto’s urban wilderness: Tommy Thompson Park. Participants will partake in a guided exploration of different ecosystems and view the infrastructure in place that supports biodiversity and prevents the spread of invasive species, such as Invasive fish species. We will discover some of the fascinating native species that live in the park and more.
Meeting Location: The Nature Centre at Tommy Thompson Park. The Nature Centre is less than a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the park.
- Please arrive on time and prepared for an extended hike.
- Wear closed-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
- This event is intended for ages 10+ (beginner level information, intended audience includes children, youth and adults)
- Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 7 a.m. on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
