One ticket is for one person.
This hike takes place in the heart of the beautiful George H Crosby Manitou State Park. A hidden gem on the North Shore, this state park is one that not that many people know about. Our hike will be about 2 miles in total. Most of the hike is on the Superior Hiking Trail where we’ll make a stop at a trail shelter to talk about the natural history of this wilderness paradise. Sign up ahead of time. Meet at the Guest Services building at Bluefin Bay Resort.
Depending on allotted time and trail conditions we will be seeing one of two features including a waterfall named "the cascades" or a small inland lake named "Benson Lake". Both trails take you on a scenic walk through spruce and cedar groves. Wildlife spotting alert: This is a rugged, wilderness park where bear, wolves, moose, deer, and grouse share the trails with hikers! The total trip distance is 2 miles and considered easy to moderate in difficulty.
